If you catch Joseph Boueri on a slow night, he'll probably offer to give you a personal tour of Olio's wine room. The 5,000-plus wines in this back room, built by his brother Tony, who owns the restaurant, are all for sale and meant to be drunk with the mostly Mediterranean menu (there's a $15 corkage fee) at this pleasant, breezy bistro tucked back off Atlantic Avenue. Pizzas, pasta dishes, rack of lamb, baby back ribs, and nods to the owners' Lebanese background in the kafta kebab and hummus plates are all delicious and moderately priced -- the shrimp in the curry is fat and fresh; fish like dolphin and sea bass are always perfectly cooked. This is a great neighborhood restaurant for a wine-loving clientele, run by the same family that has operated Boheme Bistro just east on Atlantic for about two decades.
