Benny's on the Beach

10 S. Ocean Blvd. Lake Worth, FL 33460 | Lake Worth | 561-582-9001

Location Description:

Located on the Lake Worth pier, this glorified concession stand serves hot dogs, hamburgers, seafood specials, pita pockets, and subs. Don't be modest; everyone's in here in their bathing suits. Fishermen frequent it for breakfast; in the afternoons, dudes drink pitchers of beers and scarf down hot wings. Sometimes folks get rowdy, and the people-watching -- old sunburned guys in Speedos and hotties in bikinis -- is supreme. Breakfast is the typical Greek-diner deals; don't miss the Athenian omelet if you like gyro meat, but the best offering is the most unusual the stuffed red raspberry granola French toast. Brunch is served all day. Benny's has exuded the same beach-shack charm since it opened in 1986, but the pier blew away during Wilma in 2005 and has been rebuilt. Best view in Lake Worth.
