Many qualities recommend the Peruvian fare at La Rosa Nautica, not the least of which is its small list of "aphrodisiacs." leche de tigre (tiger's milk), a tall glass of ceviche juice with chunks of marinated fish, XXX-tra spicy, will rev up any sputtering engines; leche de oso (bear's milk) is the same idea, only adding clam juice. The milk of the panther and the rhino mix beer into the brew to cure your hangover along with your libidinal malaise. But even if your equipment is working just fine, thank you, you'll appreciate Rosa's Sunday-morning Peruvian breakfasts, an extensive list of ceviches, and classics like fish stews (the cure-all "revival soups"); tacu-tacu, mashed fried bean cakes; and lomo saltado, beef or chicken strips served with fries and gravy.
