Saporissimo

366 E Palmetto Park Rd
Boca Raton, FL 33432
561-750-2333
When Tuscan couple Anna Maria and Giancarlo Monegatti say Saporissimo (“extremely delicious”), they mean it. This charming, shabby-chic restaurant two blocks from swank Mizner Park is a luscious secret, serving authentic Tuscan farmhouse dishes like ribollita soup, homemade pappardelle with wild rabbit sauce, pheasant with mascarpone sauce, and venison with porcini (or truffles) mushrooms –- a lineup of game meats and succulent, homemade ravioli, gnocchi, and tagliatelline whose like you’d be hard-pressed to find in this vicinity. Veal lovers will swoon over the veal picata with foie gras, truffles, sage, and marsala. Desserts like traditional pastiera Napolitana, a festive holiday cake, and a panna cotta flavored with orange blossoms are stellar. Coupled with the absolute charm of the hosts, who tend to the tables along with a couple of black-eyed Roman boys, dinner here is an unforgettable experience.
