Trina

601 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd.
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304
954-567-8070
Website
This swank, Med-themed restaurant has stunning views of the ocean and a martini list as deep as the Ionian sea, but the menu doesn’t always live up to the luxe promises of the décor and the scenery. What started out as a Sicilian fantasy has morphed into a rather middle-of- the-road, terribly upscale eatery. But there’s still plenty of deliciousness to be found here: the lamb flatbread with roasted tomatoes and feta cheese; a dish of lobster and scallop “risotto” made with orzo rather than rice; gourmet fish sandwiches for lunch, and a pretty lineup of fresh fruit and egg dishes for breakfast. The real draw is the cocktail list and the young bucks and babes who show up to drink them, a list always in flux and always brilliant, plus a menu of cigars and after-dinner spirits that make Trina one of the best smokin’ and drinkin’ boites in South Florida. A thrilling wine list of hard-to-find boutique vintners and beers makes the party all that much merrier. - Gail Shepherd
