Begun as a neighborhood dockside fish shack and open-air bar in 1957, Two Georges has expanded to an outdoor dining complex and sports bar along the waterfront northwest of the Boynton Beach Boulevard bridge. The all-outdoor (but covered) seating is at tables and hightops in the tiki and along the deck, with a group of "swinging" tables along the dock. Conch dishes here (fritters, soup, and salad) are holdovers from the early days, but the remainder of the menu has gone the way of "island themed" restaurants. Smoked fish dip, chicken wings, calamari, coconut shrimp, and spinach and artichoke dip fill the apps menu. Fish sandwiches are a mainstay -- try the grilled dolphin (mahi to nonnatives), or get a crab-cake sandwich. Broiled or fried shrimp, scallops, or fish baskets are available, with beef and reef combos and a few pastas. There's big drink menu full of frozen and regular tropical drinks, including the punch bucket of rum and pineapple juice. Relaxing and casual all around, it's a good tropical spot to bring out-of-towners.
