Nothing new for Iron Forge Press to get some attention from clients in other parts of the country, and this arresting poster for the Canadian indie rock supergroup the New Pornographers' performance in Washington D.C. with the Dodos and the Dutchess and the Duke shows why. With illustration and design courtesy of John Kissee, and type by Chuck Loose, this three-color print (Glow-In-The-Dark Green, Fluorescent Magenta, and Purple w/metallic copper flake) pops like crazy.
Aside from another excuse to break out the black light, putting a multi-limbed sea creature on the poster is a smart play on the New Pornographers' many, many contributors.
