The rapper spoke to New Times this afternoon about the meaning behind the track, "Dead Homes":
"Dead Homes" is a song about some of the places I used to live. I movedfrom Ft. Liquordale to Montreal for two years and then on to Berlin for
another year. Learned about winter the hard way by falling on my face
trying to walk on iced over sidewalks, and sleeping next to the radiator
in the hallway. Montreal is like the ice planet Hoth and my Floridian
bones took a while to acclimate. I became a coffee snob and made some
lifelong friends, I left a little part of me in each of these places,
and every time I return I feel like I'm home again.
