Boca band Blonds is blowing up, But apparently, according to Rolling Stone, they're a New York duo. Their Facebook notes that they've now moved to the Big Apple, but lesbe honest: They're from Florida.

In a recent County Grind article by Arielle Castillo, the band explained its fame. It got picked up by Stereogum as a "Band to Watch" because its name was curiously similar to the better-known group Blondes. Blonds consists of Jordy Asher of Young Circles and Cari Rae. They gained big national attention before even playing their first gig.

The South Florida duo apparently covered Radiohead's "Talk Show Host," which originally appeared on the Romeo + Juliet soundtrack. It's a little dreamier and much more feminine than the original. Listen to our local band gone big after the jump.

Here's the downloadable version of Blonds' "Talk Show Host" and Radiohead's original.
