Rap acts are known for having silly names. There's 50 Cent, Snoop Doggy Dogg, etc., but when you think about it, the child prodigy born Shad Moss, AKA Bow Wow, might have the worst of them all. Granted, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg gave him the stage name Lil Bow Wow when shorty was just a talented preteen who briefly aligned himself with Death Row Records. But now that Bow Wow has "matured," he's simply dropped the "Lil" from his name, not grown all that much, and developed a hip-pop formula that's garnered him millions of teenaged fans across the country. He's just as popular nowadays for his music and films (check Roll Bounce for some serious acting work) as he is for his Bossip-worthy exploits. Aside from feuding with Yung Berg, being dissed by his old flame, Ciara, and throwing temper tantrums while on tour with Omarion, the reality is, Bow Wow is a seasoned showman. He's been a part of the show-business world for 16 years, and— at the tender age of 21 — he finally deserves to be taken seriously.
