Five Things to Do This Weekend Under $10
5. B3BQ Bacon Beats BBQ
12 p.m., Sunday, at Harold's, 509 Northwood Rd., West Palm Beach. $5 cover. Visit Facebook.
What do bacon, art, and music have in common? All three will be intertwined in a beautiful ménage à trios of sorts this Sunday at Harold's in West Palm Beach. A mere 5 bones will provide you access to all the actual bones you can suck on. There will be barbecue and there will be bacon.
Alas, do not fear, veggie lovers, non-meat bacon will be available. Not hungry but still wanna slide on by? Your entry is free. Enjoy your time there with vendors, live art, and sounds by Konkrete Jungle South Florida, Audioplayground Entertainment, and Dub Recon. Add a side of faith to that grease with the SFLA Bacon Church. It will also be in attendance.
Add this to your calendar from here on out, because it's a reoccurring Sunday event.

3.Rivers EP Release Party with Civilian, The Jeff Rose Band, Jude
9 p.m., Friday, July 25, at Propaganda, 6 S J St, Lake Worth. $10 cover. Visit Facebook.
A trio of delightful bands will accompany indie surf outfit Rivers in the release of their first EP and debut show. If you catch yourself bitching that this is the most expensive party on our list, remember that besides getting a true taste of South Florida's eclectic talents, you'll go home with a copy of Rivers' EP in the mix. It's definitely worth the extra bucks. Couch surf for pennies if you have to, you cheap bastard.
2. Corey James Bost Record Release

Recent interviewee and forever cutie Corey Bost will be releasing his personal and mature album Heritage at the monthly Fort Lauderdale Art Walk this week. If you've been following this local talent, expect a "darker and sonically more aggressive" sound than he's previously presented. Regarding good eats, food trucks Box of Chacos, a hybrid between Mexican and Chinese food, and Joji Yogurt will be readily available.
1. Cagney's Christmas in July Party
9 p.m., Friday, July 25 at Cagney's Saloon, NW Corner Stirling Rd & University Dr, Davie. No cover. Visit Facebook.
Christmas in July? Yeah, it's a thing, at Cagney's, at least. This Davie saloon will be playing Santa to numerous kids with a bike drive auction for charity.
Expect beer, shots, and drink specials, as well as raffles, vendors, and live music from the cover band Eclipse. This event extends till August 31, so don't feel too bad if you miss this weekend. And ladies, don't be offended if you hear a "ho, ho, ho" at your back. It's just Mr. Claus chuckling, not calling you out for sporting your cutest daisy dukes.
