You may not be in college anymore, but even though you're damn well past the age of $2 Natural Lights, eating questionable late night hot dogs, and wearing sweats 24/7, one thing is for certain, and it's the fact that you're still broke. Hell, don't be ashamed of it. Embrace it with these cheap events that we rounded up for you. Enjoy and party cheap, dudes.

5. Jangle Leg Release Show

8 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Vintage Tap, 524 W Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach. $10 cover. Visit Facebook.

Lake Worth's blue grass gypsy trash band Jangle Leg has graced South Florida with its musical presence for the past year, and this Friday the band will grace Delray’s Vintage Tap with its unique and infectious melodies. The show also celebrates the release of Jangle Leg's debut EP Half Way There, which contains five original songs that will comprise half of its full length album. Also, the $10 cover gets you a complimentary CD. And no, millennials, that's not a Frisbee. It's what's known as a "CD." Got a Jangle Leg t-shirt? Wear it and you'll get $1 off your cover. Mylo Ranger and The Scarecrow Jenkins Brimstone Jamboree will be joining the party along with Jjacks Grill Food Truck for all your drunchie needs.

4. Mandy Moon and Sofilla at Funky Buddha

9 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Funky Buddha Lounge & Brewery, 2621 N Federal Hwy, Boca Raton. $5 cover. Visit Facebook

Former New Orleans resident Mandy Moon and her band will be bringing soulful blues to the Funky Buddha to ease you into the weekend. Sofilla, a one man, er, chick band will be the opener. With Buddha’s cozy atmosphere and delicious brews, you just can’t go wrong with this event.  3. Raggy Monster at Dada

11 p.m. May 9, Saturday, at Dada, 52 N Swinton Ave., Delray Beach. No cover. Visit Facebook

West Palm's beloved indie group Raggy Monster will be crashing Dada this Saturday. For the bargain amount of zero dollars, you can enjoy this band on the cheap. Plus, they love zombies. Walking Dead references, anyone?
2. Shark Valley Sisters, Gold Dust Lounge, and Haochi Waves

10 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at Poorhouse, 110 SW 3rd Ave., Fort Lauderdale. No cover. Visit Facebook

Shark Valley Sisters are not, as one might assume, female sharks that are related, but rather a rock band that will come to Poorhouse on Saturday to, well, rock. Self described “mod erotica” band Gold Dust Lounge and the alternative Haochi Waves will be joining the lineup. Since the event is free, throw in some cash for a raffle ticket for the original SVS "Vera" painting by the talented Gregory McLaughlin. Proceeds will go towards the Surfer Blood's Thomas Fekete medical fund.
1. The Rocketz on Tour

Saturday, May 9, at Kreepy Tiki Tattoos & Boutique. 2606 S Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale. No cover. Visit Facebook

The Rocketz will be bringing their punk rockabilly to Kreepy Tiki Saturday night. They won’t be the only ones, however. The indie electro Barricade J will be joining them as well. This event is $0, so buy your date a drink. Come on, you two can split a PRB!
