Let us begin this posting about two upcoming summer tickets by saying to anyone planning to attend both of these shows: we want to hear from you right away.

The 2010 American Idol Live! tour ostensibly features the 10 up-and-coming pop performers that a feverish segment of the U.S. knows way too much about, and the rest wouldn't be able to pick them out of a lineup. Didi Benami, Crystal Bowersox, Lee DeWyze, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Aaron Kelly, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus, Katie Stevens, and Tim Urban all have performed in front of millions each week on the ninth season of the Fox juggernaut show. We welcome them to Sunrise's BankAtlantic Center August 3. May 14 is when you can cop tickets via LiveNation.

Plus, tickets just went on sale for Ted "the Nuge" Nugent, best known for his righteous '70s-era psychedelic hard rock, a stint fronting Damn Yankees, and his stance as one of the most outspoken gun-toters around. Nugent hits Revolution in Fort Lauderdale on June 29. Tickets are on sale May 8. Below is live version of Damn Yankees' "High Enough" -- a song not utilized nearly enough on American Idol -- that features Nugent giving guitarist Tommy Shaw a good shove at the beginning.
