Jah Cure Announces Concert in the Bahamas Nov 3rd!!
Popular reggae star Jah Cure has announced that he's performing a show close enough to South Florida that it almost feels local. He'll be in Nassau, Bahamas on November 3rd as part of the Millennium Countdown and the show is just his third concert since being released from prison in August after serving 8 years of a 15 year sentence for rape, robbery, and possession of a fire arm.
According to Delmar Drummond of Cure's managment company, Danger Zone Productions, Jah Cure doesn't have any shows planned for South Florida in the near future, thus this is probably the last chance for die-hard fans to see the artist perform before the end of the year.
His much talked about Curefest, which took place two weeks ago in Montego Bay, was the artists second show since his release, but with all of the hype surrounding the show, many fans--even those in Jamaica, didn't have the opportunity to see Jah Cure up close and personal.
Here's another chance to see Jah Cure performing his hits like, "Longing For" "True Reflections," "Jamaica" and see what new material Cure has been cooking up over the years.
Tickets for the shows are only $40 for general admission, $100 for VIP and $250 for platinum.
That seems fairly reasonable for a show of this magnitude, although for $250, they need to come correct!
Other artists on the show include Queen Ifrika, I-Wayne, Tanya Stephens, I-Maroon, Sasha, and other artists are yet to be added to the show.
If you're not familiar with Jah Cure, here's a vid from his duo with Fantan Mojah on the track "Nuh Build Great Man" which is well worth checking out. -- Jonathan Cunningham
