As Lake Worth faces ongoing challenges settling on a noise ordinance, another South Florida community is considering revising its policies regarding live music. The Lantana Town Council will meet tonight at 7 to discuss new noise ordinance guidelines that would shut down "live/recorded/video music at 9:00 p.m."

One venue that would be hugely affected by any change is the open-air bar Old Key Lime House. According to a Facebook posting, more than 1,500 locals have signed a petition protesting the potential change. More details about the ordinance and contact information for area officials is listed at the "Save the Music in Downtown Lake Worth!!!" Facebook group.
