If you're a metalhead, proud to rock those long, greasy locks that you bang ever so gracefully to bands such as Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, you're going to be sooo pissed you don't live in Poland on June 16 when the Big Four share a bill for the Sonisphere Festival. Slayer, Metallica, Anthrax, and Megadeth will all play the same venue for the first time. They're also playing together for the majority of the tour, hitting up Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, and Turkey. (Twisting the knife: Mastodon, Rammstein, and Faith No More are on some of the dates.)
But don't despair, South Floridians. They're coming to a theater near you June 22. The Bulgaria show, in the city of Sofia, will be shown in more than 450 movie theaters at 7:30 p.m. -- including several in the Broward-Palm Beach area! Tickets for The Big Four are available here; just type in your Zip Code to see participating theaters. Or check out this list of theaters. And view the trailer here.
