By ANDY VIHSTADT
Those of you waiting on a full-scale reunion tour from Led Zeppelin should find something else to obsess about in 2008. According to Robert Plant’s site , he and Alison Krauss are launching a European tour in May with US dates to follow. In the meantime, here’s the setlist and a couple of vids from last week’s one-off show in London, at which scalped tickets reportedly fetched as much as $168,000 a pair. You investors out there might want to pick up a few shares in eBay.

Z-Trip and Galactic: “Zed Tripplen” MP3
Things have been looking bleak for Morcheeba ever since Skye Edwards split in 2003. The trip-hop brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey are giving it another shot after their 2005 disappointment, The Antidote (which featured vocals from Daisy Martey, who is no also longer with the group). Dive Deep is due next month and will feature a number of guest vocalists, including one of my favorite rappers, Cool Calm Pete, on “One Love Karma.” According to the band’s site , the track “will incorporate the world’s first ever recorded fluteboxing, a human beatbox through a flute.” Get a couple of the new tracks at Plague of Angels.
Daft Punk Is Talking at My House, My House
Hipster marketing powerhouses Vice and Scion have joined forces to persuade the robots to doff their helmets and speak. Beginning today, December 17, you can listen to a rare interview with Thomas Bangalter and
Guy-Manuel de Homem Christo of Daft Punk at VBS.tv. According to the press release, the French 'droids "elaborate on their career, their film Daft Punk's Electroma, and art in general."
River of Opportunity
Okkervil River is giving away Golden Opportunities at its site. The nine-track mixtape was recorded live on tour and features covers from the likes of Randy Newman and Joni Mitchell as well as a timely new tune, “Listening to Otis Redding at Home During Christmas.” Get it here.
Earlier this month, Portishead played its first proper gigs in almost a decade. Included in the setlist were a few new songs from the upcoming LP3. Deaf Indie Elephants has the entire show from the second night of the ATP’s Nightmare Before Christmas Festival, right here.
