South Beach's Rokbar (1905 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach) is sort of a misnomer for the lounge. It's neither a rock 'n' roll club or bar. Instead the lounge focuses on bringing together beautiful people with a knack for bottle service and plenty of attitude.

Still, the venue has always made a name for itself by trying to bend the rules a bit of what is expected from a beach establishment. Its hosted live band performances, keggers and art parties. Now Rokbar has alerted of us a new Tuesday night party called Side Door. Launched by the lounge's director of events Sebastian Puga and former co-owner of Bella Rose Keith Paciello, the night promises to be quintessentially anti-South Beach. Going for a more dive bar feel, there will be no bottle service, no door fee and no model/promoter tables.

In fact, the night is as going so far to not use its Collins Avenue entrance. To gain entry, you'll have to use the alleyway entrance in the back -- hence the name Side Door. Also given the boot is the normal Top 40 set list found a most beach clubs. Instead resident DJs Troy Kurtz, Ryan Evans, Johnny the Boy, Damaged Goods and a slew of special guests will be spinning mix of electro, indie-dane and nu-disco, focusing mainly on introducing new and upcoming records.

Party starts tomorrow night. For more information, call 305-674-4397 or visit rokbarmiami.com.
