New Times' winner for Best Music Venue, the Talent Farm, is hosting the X&Y Fest on September 26 and 27, and they're looking to add some bands to the stage. There is no charge to submit your band (all genres, shapes, and sizes will be considered). The only catch is you're music must appeal to either Gen X or Gen Y (sorry Herman's Hermits).

The festival will feature 20 bands over two days, and every band has a shot at $1000 in prize money, get space to sell their merch, and can pimp themselves out mercilessly to eveyone who shows up. It's a great opportunity to play on a professional stage with expert sound engineers in front of an audience of open minded kids, rather than in front of a few drunks at the bar on the corner.
