Allen West Concedes Election to Patrick Murphy, Finally
After a heated contest for the 18th District, a vote tally that saw him lose, a partial recount that saw him lose, and another recount that saw him lose even more, Allen West is finally, for real, no kidding this time, officially conceding the election to Patrick Murphy.
West released a statement Tuesday morning saying he was taking no further action in contesting the election results.
You can read the full concession statement here.
WARNING: It's what you might expect from West -- long, pedantic and soaked in narcissism.

He also said that he was praying for Murphy to put the interest of the nation ahead of his own and that he would serve with honor and integrity, which we're pretty sure puts the irony meter at 200 decibels.
So, there you have it. Allen West is officially done.
"For two weeks since Election Day, we have been working to ensure every vote is counted accurately and fairly. We have made progress towards that goal, thanks to the dedication of our supporters and their unrelenting efforts to protect the integrity of the democratic process. While many questions remain unanswered, today I am announcing that I will take no further action to contest the outcome of this election."
"I pray [Patrick Murphy] will serve his constituents with honor and integrity, and put the interests of our nation before his own."
God speed, Colonel Commie Hunter. May your quest to vanquish the socialists you think you see never die!
