Another Palm Beach County Schools Worker Found in a Closet Without Pants
If your child goes to a school in the Palm Beach County district, you may want to consider telling him or her to never, ever open a closet at school.
Just a couple of weeks removed from Bak Middle School of the Arts janitor Juan Rivera-Ortiz being fired after being found naked in a closet at that school, a cafeteria worker at Westward Elementary School tells WPEC she found an exposed employee in a closet too.
The district never went into detail as to what Rivera-Ortiz was doing when his school's assistant principal went into an orchestra-strings storage closet and discovered him sans clothes, but the cafeteria worker in this case says she saw the school's custodian openly urinating in the closet.
She told the news station that on May 12, she was in the cafeteria cleaning tables when she heard what sounded like a running faucet coming from the janitorial closet.
When she opened the door to the closet, she said she realized it was the school custodian's faucet that was dripping down the drain.
The woman said the custodian was full-on exposed in the closet, taking a leak into a drain on the floor.
She apparently asked the custodian why he was urinating in a closet, when she says he told her he had a bladder condition and just had to go right then and there.
No kids were in the area at the time, the woman tells WPEC, but it was during school hours -- so she says a kid could've gone by at any minute.
The news station reports that a district spokesperson tells them school district police were investigating the incident but ultimately turned the case over to the school's principal to determine what, if any, action to take against the custodian.
