Ronald Falzini III, the 19-year-old man the cops say ran over a 73-year-old woman in her west Boca Raton neighborhood -- which left her body parts strewn across the front yards of several houses in May -- has been charged in the woman's death, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

The cops say Guadalupe Corrizales was out for her morning walk around 6:30 a.m. May 12 when Falzini rolled through the neighborhood in his Infiniti G35, making roadkill out of Corrizales.

Falzini -- who police say had likely been drinking -- left Corrizales in the road and parked his car back at his house a half-mile away, according to the cops.

His mother decided to call the Sheriff's Office -- probably because police say his car was covered in blood splatter, with a crumpled hood and shattered windshield.

Falzini was taken to the hospital and not charged at the time of the crash, but emergency responders were having an interesting time back at the crash site.

They found most of Corrizales in the intersection of Judge Winikoff and Neptune roads but collected several body parts from the front lawns of homeowners around the intersection, the cops say.

That led to Judge Winikoff Road being shut down that morning and school buses being rerouted while they recovered Corrizales' body.

Now, the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office says it's confirmed that Falzini had been drinking before hitting Corrizales.

Falzini was arrested by the Broward Sheriff's Office and is in a Broward jail awaiting transfer to Palm Beach County, according to the BSO.

He's been charged with vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a crash involving death, and DUI manslaughter, according to PBSO.
