Former pro wrestler "The Future" Donovan Ruddick was arrested by Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend to death.

Police found a woman stabbed multiple times inside a unit at the Del Lago apartments on Tuesday evening.

The woman, who remains unidentified, died at the scene.

Police put out an immediate alert to find her boyfriend, Brian McGee, also known as "The Future" Donovan Ruddick and "DT Porter."

McGee, 29, had been part of the Florida Championship Wrestling circuit and also did some wrestling in Missouri as well as in Pro Wrestling NEXT.

McGee had fled in his 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix, but he was soon spotted in Tampa.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies, with the help of Tampa police and the Florida Highway Patrol, gave chase.

The pursuit went up through Pasco County, where McGee eventually crashed his Pontiac on I-75 and County Line Road. He was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment before being arrested and booked into the Hillsborough County Jail.

McGee is being charged with first-degree murder, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
