Minus Porter, the Dolphins lockerroom will be a little less quotable.

The Miami Dolphins just announced the release of pass-rushing specialist Joey Porter. Signed in March 2007 to a five-year, $32-million contract, Porter played in 14 games last year, posting 41 tackles and nine sacks. But after a disappointing Dolphin debut, followed by a sterling all-pro season in 2008, those 2009 numbers weren't worth the money for the Dolphins' front office.
