With the eyes of U.S. soccer fans focused on Boca Raton product Jozy Altidore as he prepares for the most important game of his life (tomorrow versus Slovenia), one local sports celebrity wants to see Altidore up-close.

South Florida's own Chad Ochocinco posted words of encouragement on Altidore's Twitter account this morning. When Altidore responded, Ochocinco posted this:

"Its amazing my man a crazy experience u should come out here then we can go one vs one Football vs futbol haha"

Altidore told his fans that he had a "great training session" and that now it's "time to rest up."

While resting, he also pondered if France's striker, Thierry Henry, is injured, since, in Altidore's words, "France did not look so hot."

Altidore also mentioned that he got locked out of the stadium this morning at 5 a.m. South Africa time.

Ochocinco spent the rest of the day rooting on Mexico, his adopted soccer nation of choice, with chants like: "Viva Mexico Cabrones!!!!" and later "Gggggggggoooooooooooaaaaaaaallllllllll viva mexico ole ole ole ole viva mexico clap clap clap."
