Miami Dolphins guard Richie Incognito allegedly punched and knocked out a hotel security guard at the Fountainbleu Hotel in Miami, ESPN is reporting.
The incident reportedly happened before training camp.
Apparently there is video of the incident, but the hotel is so far refusing to release the footage, the report says.
One person who knows Incognito told ESPN that the player did not take the first swing.
According to an ESPN source, the Dolphins are aware of the incident and have been trying to bury it.
The altercation could be a violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy.
However, if the Fountainbleu continues to keep the video from being released, there's basically nothing the NFL can do.
According to the Palm Beach Post, Incognito was issued a trespassing warning by Miami Beach Police following the incident.
