Last year, when New Times ran this cover story about spring break in Fort Lauderdale, the president of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, Nicki Grossman, dismissed the idea that there's still debauchery on the beach. Here's what she said back then:

"It took a long time and a lot of hard work to get rid of that element. Now we're about families snorkeling and young couples dining at trendy cafés or a group of girlfriends getting away for a 'shop and spa' splurge."

It's hard not to think of Grossman's comment when checking out these photos from yesterday's pool party at Exit 66, where beer bongs and thongs were common. Welcome back, debauchery.
