Police say 27-year-old Stephen Bradley was in a relationship with 35-year-old Melissa Kaehler of Fort Lauderdale. Then they broke up. Then he killed her.

The Broward Sheriff's Office just released the names of the people involved after finding their bodies Saturday morning -- police received two calls around 10 a.m. for two separate bodies.

Kaehler was found dead of a gunshot wound in a car in a Pompano Beach Walmart. Bradley's body was pulled out of a canal along Twin Lakes Drive in Coral Springs around the same time, also dead of a gunshot.

Police discovered a suicide note "detailing what he had done" on land near where Bradley was found, according to BSO spokeswoman Keyla Concepcion.

Broward County court records don't show any history of violence with Bradley, though he was charged with possession of marijuana in 2009 and posted bail for Kaehler when she was charged with the same in 2010.
