So CNN anchor Rick Sanchez, the former Channel 7 sensationalist, was fired for implying that Jews run the media and that Jon Stewart is a "bigot."
Here's the tape of the interview that got him fired.
I've skewered Sanchez for years, but I never thought he'd be fired for something like this. It reminded me of an old Saturday Night Live joke told by Norm MacDonald, circa 1995:
"Earlier this week, actor Marlon Brando met with Jewish leaders to apologize for comments he made on Larry King Live. Among them, that 'Hollywood is run by Jews.' The Jewish leaders accepted the actor's apology and announced that Brando is now free to work again."

All humor aside, his remarks were stupid as hell, but no more stupid than a lot of other things he's said. This one was obviously just the straw that broke the camel's back with Sanchez and CNN. It was inevitable.
