The Boca Museum is taking portraits out of storage and showing them off to the public. The collection is topnotch. Theres an original Andy Warhol print (though calling it an original is, admittedly, oxymoronic) of a young Mohammed Ali in red, blue, brown, yellow, and green. In one print, his fist is clenched under his chin. He might be resting his head on it in contemplation or readying it for a punch theres a sort of optical illusion at work here. Then theres a 1968 photo by Arnold Newman taken of the famous painter Georgia OKeeffe. With her face in profile, she looks almost exactly like Whistlers mother.
