The U.S. isn’t exactly known as a nation of the physically fit. More than one-third of the population is obese. Heart disease, stroke, type-2 diabetes, and certain kinds of cancers, all of which are related to being overweight, are some of the leading causes of preventable death. With those numbers, we certainly are not a nation of supermodels.
