They say fashion is a walking form of art. Let's be honest, there has to be some explanation for Lady Gaga's dress-o-meat. That being said, the Boca Raton Museum of Art in Mizner Park is rolling out its exploration of fashion with IMPACT: 50 Years of the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
Opening to the general public on Tuesday, from 10am to 5pm, the exhibit will feature interactive touch screen displays, examining the works and style of over 600 CFDA members over the past fifty years. General admission tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, $8 for students with ID, and children under the age of twelve are free. For museum members, there will be an opening reception with light refreshments from 6:00 to 8:00pm. For $10, members are invited to bring a guest to the reception. Call (561) 392-2500, or visit bocamuseum.org.
