FRI 8/8

The Frankie Muniz vehicle Agent Cody Banks landed on DVD last Tuesday. For those of you blissfully unaware of the kiddie movie market, it is huge. A major blockbuster can come out on DVD, complete with hours of nifty extras, and still be outdone in sales by the latest straight-to-video sequel to The Lion King, Aladdin, or any other franchise the Mouse has to offer. With that in mind, hyping Banks is a must. Therefore, kids who come to Sawgrass Mills (12801 Sunrise Blvd., Sunrise) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday can participate in the "Cody Banks Challenge." Sprint through an obstacle course while fighting inflatable villains to receive your very own Junior Secret Agent ID Badge. And then make your parents buy you a DVD. Admission is free. Call 800-266-7920. -- Dan Sweeney

Endless Summer

Aww, man! Summer's almost over. The days of swimming in the pool for hours are going to be replaced with buying school supplies. Why don't you make a last ditch effort to indulge in summer camp before you're stuck in a classroom all day? Quiet Waters Park (6601 N. Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach) offers "Adventure Camp" for kids ages 6 to 12. What's so adventurous about it? Kids can participate in swimming, nature hikes, environmental studies classes, and twice-a-week field trips to various nature destinations. The camp runs every weekday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until August 22. Call 954-360-1315. -- Audra Schroeder
