Taylor Reese changed the way people saw surfing. The surf-doc master has already produced and directed six films about the wettest sport on earth, and he’s now releasing a joint production with Billabong that showcases three surfing legends. Trilogy follows the careers of Joel “Parko” Parkinson, Andy Irons, and Taj Burrow, capturing their abilities to navigate the ocean’s whimsically powerful force. To premiere Trilogy in South Florida, Billabong teamed up with Stoked Entertainment, BC Surf and Sport, and Automatic Slims in Fort Lauderdale (15 West Las Olas Blvd.), the folks who brought you Steele’s last item, Campaign 2.

Besides catching the flick on Sunday night at 11 p.m., you can also join pro skaters (like X Gamer “Bucky” Lasek) in ripping up the Slims/Stoked Entertainment mini ramp – you have to sign a waiver though, in case you split your wig. No worries. If you do break a bone or two, you can apply a makeshift tourniquet out of Billabong gear that Bucky and other skate and surf pros will be tossing out. Call 954-522-8585.
