Get your rhinestone-bedazzled jackets out of storage and dust off those patent platforms, because Elvis is in the building! Well, OK… not really, but internationally recognized King of Rock-n-Roll tribute artist Chris MacDonald is bringing the King back to life in downtown Boca Raton for the city's monthly Friday Night LIVE! Outdoor concert. MacDonald, who performs in the annual celebration of Elvis' birthday at Graceland’s Heartbreak Hotel, will be performing with a live band at 7:30 p.m. in Boca's Sanborn Square, welcoming fans of all ages. The night's festivities kick off at 6:30, when Sanborn Square will become home base for a lineup of gourmet food trucks and a cafe dining area. Participating local businesses will also be extending their hours to host sidewalk tastings, sales, and, of course, afterparties. The event is free. Seating for the "Memories of Elvis" showcase is on first-come basis, and eventgoers are invited to bring their own blankets and chairs, though some will be available to rent for $2. Sanborn Square is located at 72 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton. Visit downtownboca.org.
