Despite disappearing from pop culture for some time, Shore has been making a comeback. Using his own irrelevance as a premise, he recently directed the semi-autobiographical Pauly Shore is Dead, and has launched a stand-up tour promoting his new sketch comedy film, Natural Born Komics. It turns out Shore seems more comfortable with audiences laughing at him than with him. Well aware of his past persona, he even promises a weasel-free stand-up routine when he shows up at the Fort Lauderdale Improv (5700 Seminole Way, Hollywood) this Friday through Saturday. Tickets cost $26.50 Visit www.improvftl.com for show times.
