Nothin says Halloween like men in spandex and figure-four leg locks. Tonight is the one-year anniversary of DP1 (Division Pro One) Wrestling in Davie, and since these guys are always in costume, its the perfect place to hunker down and get your fix of bloodsports. (There are ten scheduled grudgematches so far.) Free candy for the kids and tickets range $5 to $12. That Costume Youve Been Making since Last Year or, a Sexy Cop
MoonFest brings together people from every background, musical genre, and costume category for one giant party. The yearly event takes over Clematis and showcases bands in West Palms clubs Respectable Street and The Lounge, as well as headliners on the main street stage (the Postmarks are playing this year; if you missed ´em at Apples in Stereo, catch ´em at MoonFest), and anyone who thinks that his or her costume makes the grade can compete in the 1,000 cash prize costume contest. This years fest will also have a haunted house, street performers, rides, and circus acts. The best part? Its free, little ghoul.
