Ghost. The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. Casper. Poltergeist romances can make it seem that the only way to find a man with a good heart, is to find one with no pulse. But Ghost-Writer, the play by Michael Hollinger, is more than just another inter-dimensional love story or a good pun. Probing, but not breaking down the fourth wall, Myra speaks at the audience as if being interviewed by a reporter. She’s finishing the final novel of her late employer, famed author Franklin Woolsey. Is she merely his devoted typist determined to finish his final work on her own? Did they have a love affair? Is she receiving inspiration from the other side? Florida Stage's production of Ghost-Writer will reveal its secrets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, with a matinee showing at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday -- until April 3. Weekday performance tickets are $40, matinees are $47, and evening performances are $50 at the Rinker Playhouse, located at the Kravis Center (701 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach). Call 561-832-SHOW, or visit floridastage.com.
Wednesdays-Sundays. Starts: March 2. Continues through April 3, 2011
