Drawing upon Russian influence, the Parker Playhouse is ending the holiday season with another classic ballet performance and a beloved fairy tale of rags to riches, Cinderella. The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the delicacies of the State Ballet of Russia, in which all of the dancers have been recognized in Russian and international competitions. Hailing from the hometown of Russian dance icon Rudolf Nureyev and known for its unique sets, costumes, and choreography, as well as the symphony orchestra that will support its performance, this ballet company will leave you mesmerized. Perfect for the entire family, this production may even change your children's minds about their favorite Disney movie! A must-see performance to ring in 2014 the right way, Cinderella will be featured at the Parker Playhouse, located in Holiday Park at 707 NE Eighth St. in Fort Lauderdale, on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. To purchase tickets and get group discounts, call 954-462-0222 or visit ParkerPlayhouse.com to hand-select your seat.
