Monty Python fans: Brace yourselves. Some of the funniest scenes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail are about to hit the stage in Monty Python’s Spamalot at the Delray Beach Center for the Arts at Old School Square. The musical comedy of the Arthurian legend, “lovingly ripped off” from Monty Python’s film, is performed by Entr’Acte Theatrix and directed by Roger Blankenship. It parodies King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table on their search for the Holy Grail and features outrageous characters and humorous encounters with beautiful girls, a flatulent Frenchman, and a killer rabbit. Don’t miss this hysterically funny performance Thursday through June 30 at the Crest Theatre, located at 51 N. Swinton Ave. in Delray. Showtimes are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m.; Sunday, June 23, at 2 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, June 30, at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12. Call 561-243-7922, ext. 1, or visit delraycenterforthearts.org.
Wednesdays-Fridays, 2 & 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 2 & 8 p.m.; Sun., June 23, 2 & 8 p.m.; Sun., June 30, 2 p.m. Starts: June 20. Continues through June 30, 2013
