You’ve pined to incorporate hot-and-sweaty dance moves with water play, but just about all you came up with was an H20 aerobics class at granny’s condo. While that’s great on the knees and your new octogenarian friends are a real hoot, you still feel like there could be more. How about incorporating the constant, flowing movements of the ocean with the controlled, athletic movements of trained dancers? In its ninth year, OceanDance 2007 brings a world-renowned dance troupe to Hollywood Beach (Johnson Street and the sand) for a night of dancing among the elements. The ten-member multi-cultural ensemble is on loan from the Wylliams/Henry Danse Theatre, a place that’s known for mixing contemporary classics and avant-garde.

All you’ll need is cash for parking and a beach chair to enjoy the free festivities at 8 p.m. VIP cocktail packages are also available. There’s a repeat performance on Monday night. Call 954-921-3274, or visit www.artandculturecenter.org.
Sun., Dec. 30, 8 p.m.; Mon., Dec. 31, 8 p.m., 2007
