The stars of the show will be the students from the Art Institute's culinary, fashion design, and video production programs, who will each present a course of their own. The culinary team will offer a spread of artfully prepared hors d'oeuvres in addition to main courses of potato gnocchi with rosemary chicken and wild mushrooms, roasted Greek lamb with tzatziki, and vegetable curry; the Museum bar will offer wine, martinis, and Manhattans to go with. Meanwhile, video production students will be screening their collective efforts, including short films, documentaries, and music videos, while budding fashionistas strut their artwork-themed creations along the runway. Comers will also get an exclusive opportunity to tour the Museum of Art privately, and bid on artwork in a silent auction. Proceeds from the event will benefit FLIFF, so the festival can continue to do its thang: bringing tasty films to the FTL.
