It’s no secret: Our seasons are totally backward. Right now, it’s kind of working out in our favor. While everyone up north is nearly freezing to death, we’re hanging out at outdoor restaurants, taking photos, and bragging to all our northern brethren about our lack of seasons via Instagram. To celebrate the mild winter festivities, YOLO is taking advantage of the outdoor fire pits — and giving you multiple food photo ops — by hosting s’mores night. Every Thursday — during winter — YOLO holds its weekly s’mores night from 6 to 9 on the patio. For $8, guests get to pretend they’re camping by roasting their own little custom marshmallow sandwiches — the restaurant sets up a banquet table with multiple accouterment options. Prefer to drink your dessert? If so, there are options for you too. The spot offers multiple specialized drink choices, including s’mores martinis and a number of hot adult beverages. The restaurant is located at 333 E. Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-523-1000, or visit yolorestaurant.com.
Thursdays, 6 p.m. Starts: Dec. 13. Continues through April 1, 2012
