I think we can all agree that Willow was the unsung hero in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Sure, Buffy had the whole buxom, blonde, superpower thing going on, but when she needed gray matter to defeat a villain, it was always Willow, her optimistic sidekick, who hacked into a national security data bank or rummaged through the library’s stacks to solve the perilous dilemma – and, yes, save the world.

The show garnered its cult status by being an unconventional alternative to the rest of its time slot competition, which is precisely why Buffy the Vampire Slayer Sundays and Undergrounds Coffeehaus (2743 E. Commercial Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) make such a perfect match. The coffee shop is an adorable gem; loaded with antiques and vintage treasures, it’s the antithesis of the cold, uncaring, corporate chains. And they have tater tots. You love tater tots. Pop by on Sunday nights from 6 p.m. on and enjoy two cult treasures in one sitting. Call 954-630-1900.
