Peter’s sweet, Mickey’s funny, and Mike is earnest, but Davy Jones is the absolute dreamiest. Even Marsha Brady swooned. He sings, has an accent, is a real groovy dancer, and finally, after all these years, he wants to meet you! He’ll be hanging out Sunday at the Cinema Paradiso (503 SE Sixth St., Fort Lauderdale) Beach Movie Fest, for the screening of Head.

If you missed Head the first time around (which we all did, aside from the immediate cast), it was co-written by Bob Rafelson and Jack Nicholson. Together they send the Monkees on a psychedelic, stream-of-consciousness journey, replete with wacky clips and zany scenes. In one, the foursome ends up as dandruff in actor Victor Mature’s hair (random much?). With help from a cast that includes Annette Funicello, Frank Zappa, and talking cows, our madcap mop-tops poke fun at their Prefab Four image. A luau with dreamy Davy starts things smokin’ at 6:30 p.m., and the film gets underway at 7:30. Tickets cost $5. Visit www.fliff.com, or call 954-525-3456.
