Its been a year since her murder. While the rest of the cast and crew carried on with their lives, joined other productions, and made their worlds whole again, the deceaseds lover and the shows playwright has not. And quite frankly, hes not too happy about that. In fact, hes hell-bent on figuring out who killed his starlet, and theres only one logical way to accomplish that goal ring everyone up (from stage hands to stars), invite them back to the theater, and ask them to perform the production again just as they did on the night of her death, but now a year later. Thats the premise behind Rehearsal for Murder, the newest production from those go-getting thespians at the University School in Davie. This bloodcurdling who-dunnit will have you teetering on the edge of your seat, itching to solve the crime before the gumshoe sitting next to you does. Tickets cost $8 to $15. The sordid tale unfolds at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center (3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd., Davie) at 7:30 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday nights.
