We all know Christmas is celebrated in hundreds of countries throughout the world. And there are plenty of ways to celebrate. Some people watch the Rockettes. Others The Nutcracker. Some people like to stay in and watch the Charlie Brown Christmas Special. Those looking for something a bit more exotic can check out Christmas Flamenco Night With Vilancicos Flamencos (Christmas carols), presented by Miguelangel Flamenco Company this Sunday at the Mackhouse (formerly Stage 84). From 7 to 11 p.m., guests can watch the performance and nosh on $4 Spanish-style tapas: hummus, pulled pork, pollo al ajillo, Serrano ham, and Manchego cheese. And did we mention $6 made-in-house Holy Mack beer sangria? Yep. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance, but reservations are highly recommended. The Mackhouse is located at 9118 W State Road 84. The cover is $15. Call 954-484-7074, or visit holidayflamenco2012.eventbrite.com.
