For some, today is the greatest holiday of the year. I’m not talking about insane neo-Nazis celebrating the birth of the most wretched and despised man in history. I’m talking about everyone’s favorite longhaired, hacky-sack-playing segment of society that subscribes to that other Times magazine (the one with sticky green centerfolds). Yes, today is the day potheads all over the world get high and debate what exactly 4-20 means and where it came from while devouring individually wrapped snack cakes. After the debating ends, why not check out the 420 Friendly Comedy Show at the Improv Paradise Live (5700 Seminole Way, Hollywood)? Sure, Ricky Cruz, Adrian Mesa, Oni Perez, Forrest Shaw, and John Vargas aren’t exactly household names, but that doesn’t mean they don’t know their Alaskan Haze from their Tom Cruise Purple (a new kind of weed in California, for serious).
