Fort Lauderdale — is not at all like Paddy's Pub. First off, Undergrounds does not serve alcohol, especially to children. Instead, they whip up delicious and original coffee-based beverages, flavored tater tots, and head-clearing loose leaf teas. It is also not, to our knowledge, populated by vagrants and lowlifes whose idea of a good time is crashing a pro-choice rally to pick up "willing chicks" or kidnapping drunk college students and hazing them mercilessly. No, the people at Undergrounds are very kind folk. Still, we're afraid to say that UG is going down the Paddy's path; at least it will at at 7 p.m. this Thursday and Friday. That's when it will screen every episode from seasons one through three of the sick and twisted FX sitcom, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Relive all the revolting escapades of Paddy’s Pub owners Mack, Dennis, Charlie, and Deandra while sipping a peanut butter cup latte and possibly playing scrabble — it's your call! Stick around for the raffle, where UG will give away free T-shirts and, the grand prize, a Sunny season three DVD set. And there's no cover - what more could you want? Call 954-630-1900.
