We all know it's dangerous to drink and drive. But South Florida is spread out, with an utter lack of public transportation -- you need to get in some sort of vehicle to drink your way around town, especially if you're looking to stick to craft brews. Fortunately, though, South Floridian craft beer geeks are crafty; they've figured out a way to get you around Broward and Palm Beach breweries sans driving. It's the South Florida Brew Bus Coastal Cruise Tour. On Saturday, the folks of South Florida Brew Bus have organized a Drink Like a Local Tour from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. For $50 per person, the tour will take local craft beer enthusiasts to Funky Buddha Brewery, Saltwater Brewery, and Due South Brewing for a fun daytime drinking excuse. Tickets include one pint per brewery, a private tour of each facility, roundtrip transportation, pretzels and peanuts, and samples of Brew Bus Brewing's line of craft beers throughout the day. Each place of business will have food trucks onsite for anyone looking to purchase lunch. Check-in takes place at 12:15 p.m. at Funky Buddha Brewery, which is located at 1201 NE 38th St. in Oakland Park. Call Brew Bus South Florida at 813-990-7310, or visit southfl.brewbususa.com.
